About the Campaign
If you could help someone by doing what most people would call crazy and impossible, would you do it?
I started running competitively just shy of one year ago. In January of 2019, I took on the challenge of the Frozen Otter Ultra. After completion, I set my sights on Ironman Wisconsin and crossed that finish line in September. I was applying for a segment of this relay in 2021, but when things fell through with another runner, I was given the opportunity to run the 183 miles of segment 4 for the 2020 relay team. I couldn’t turn this down, especially because this organization hits close to home. In April of 2009 my aunt Wendy was diagnosed with MS. She is my inspiration and motivation to complete this challenging relay segment. I am looking forward to being able to raise awareness and funds for MS research.
I am inviting you to join me in raising awareness and helping to find a cure for MS. I am doing this because I CAN! I am doing this for the countless people that suffer from this terrible disease that can’t. I am doing this so that we can raise awareness and eradicate this terrible disease.
I am asking for your support in two ways. First, I have set a goal to raise $10,000 by the time my segment begins in April. Your donation will contribute to the fight against MS. Secondly, by being informed, you can help raise awareness in our search for a cure. To learn more about MS go to: https://www.nationalmssociety.org/
